ZIRKEL Wireless is dedicated to delivering quality, high-speed Internet access and services to residences and businesses throughout the Steamboat Springs community. As a locally owned and operated company, we strive to provide personalized service and support at a competitive price.

|
ZIRKEL Wireless was conceived in the fall of 2000 when we grew frustrated at efforts to order high-speed Internet service for our home. Realizing a growing need for these types of services and the lack of available providers, we decided to build a local wireless network to offer service throughout Steamboat Springs and surrounding areas.
As the initial network and business plan were being developed, we sought a name that would capture the essence of our new business venture. We ultimately chose the name ZIRKEL Wireless after the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness Area, one of our favorite places and one of the most beautiful spots on Earth.
Once the company was named, we quickly built our high-speed digital network and launched our service in the fall of 2001. Since then, interest in our service has increased and we have grown both in our number of customers and our coverage area. Currently, we have several hundred customers served by eight antenna sites and 29 wireless access points located throughout Routt County.
At ZIRKEL Wireless, we believe that our customers are our greatest asset. As our business and service area grows, we are committed to providing you with superior customer service and an unparalleled high-speed Internet experience.
